Alice Prince: The Princess of Happiness and Positivity in Tanzania

Can you learn and be inspired to be positive and happy?    Ms. Alice Prince,   CEO, and founder of PH Inspirational Series (PHIS) believes it is possible.

“When you are happy and positive, your world outlook changes for the better. Your attitude changes positively, your world outlook changes and you are able to push yourself up to achieve your dreams.

The founder of the first happiness and positivity institute in Africa, she believes that to speed up the pace of individual, societal, communal, corporate and even national and continental development, Africa needs a more inspired citizenry who value greatly their wellbeing and take personal accountability seriously.

“For people to thrive and societies to flourish, they need to greatly value their wellbeing by actively being positive and seeking happiness”, she says.

She said the United Nations recognizing the importance of happiness and well-being in the lives of human beings, in its General Assembly,  resolution 66/281, where, March 20 was proclaimed the International Day of Happiness.

The resolution, she noted seeks economic growth that takes care of sustainable development that promotes poverty eradication, happiness and the well-being of the people.

“For our wellbeing, individually and at different societal levels, we must hold ourselves accountable for the realization of our aspirations or dreams,” she noted.

She posited that when people take accountability seriously, they are able to strive and focus on reaching their dreams in an accelerated, consistent, steady performance that is progressive.

Alice noted that people and societies fail to actualize their potentials when they neglect their wellbeing, especially being accountable.

“You have to be accountable for your health- start with what you eat, seek to be healthy physically and mentally. Same way be accountable by making the right choices to realize your career, business or other dreams,” she noted.

Lack of happiness, stress, failure to have faith in oneself and the power of destiny to greatness often locks many people out of great, happy and fulfilled life, that they could have lived in pursuit of their dreams.

“Many times people, communities or corporate bodies just need some little guidance, some inspiration, to make the decision to follow the right path in the struggle to realize their potential.

Alice is of the worldview that it is essential for one to live a quality life – happy and fulfilled. “We want a society that comprises of many such people so that they can bring positive changes. This calls for a society filled with a positive mindset; individuals who are accountable to their dreams; people that want to see others happy,” she noted.

Alice in the last 1 year has run transformational sessions attended by over 300 people which saw a number of participants start actualizing their dreams.

An active  Certified Public Accountant, a year ago she decided to add to her career, a new pursuit to transform the community through impacting the society with accountability, positivity, and happiness.

PH Inspirational Series she says is about positivity and happiness. “It is a dynamic personal and corporate human forward development platform. The motivational series are designed to help members of the community develop strategies, motivation, and accountability required to achieve their dreams and live a happier life.”The activities have been designed to fit members regardless of their background, age, gender or position they hold in life, she noted.

“We need positivity in what we do to foster development. Programs like  PH Inspirational Series are important for encouraging more Tanzanians to get out of their comfort zone and pursue their dreams,” she noted.
