Maida Waziri, the President of the Voice of Women Entrepreneurs in Tanzania (VoWET), recently gave a keynote address at a seminar for various entrepreneurs organized by the Tanzania Women’s Empowerment Network (TAWEN) in Dar es Salaam.
The seminar, which Exim Bank sponsored, aimed to provide women entrepreneurs with essential skills and knowledge to improve their businesses and empower them economically.
In her address, Waziri highlighted the importance of entrepreneurship in providing opportunities for women to achieve financial independence. She emphasized the significance of mental health and its impact on one’s ability to succeed in business.
Waziri’s personal experiences as a woman entrepreneur were also shared, inspiring and motivating the women in attendance. She encouraged them to believe in themselves, work hard, and overcome challenges to succeed.
The seminar was well attended, with many women entrepreneurs from various industries and backgrounds in attendance. They engaged in discussions and asked questions, gaining valuable insights and knowledge on growing and developing their businesses.
