Born and raised in Tanzania, Senyamule studied at UDSM. Here, she accrued invaluable knowledge and skills, later becoming the cornerstone of her dedication to serving the Tanzanian populace.
In 2012, Senyamule’s dedication to community-based development and innovative governance was first put to the test with her appointment as the Ileje District Commissioner. Her accomplishments in this role led to her subsequent position as the District Commissioner of Same in the Kilimanjaro region. She further sharpened her administrative prowess and prioritized social and economic development.
Her consistent, tangible contributions did not go unnoticed, and in May 2021, she was appointed by President Samia as the Regional Commissioner of Geita. In this significant role, Senyamule oversaw regional development and coordinated government activities in Geita, a region economically pivotal to Tanzania due to its thriving gold mining industry.
The zenith of her distinguished career arrived in August 2022, with her appointment as the Regional Commissioner for Dodoma, the capital of Tanzania. This crucial position placed her at the helm of national governance and policy-making, underscoring her instrumental role in Tanzania’s ongoing evolution.
Upon assuming the Dodoma office in August 2022, the Honorable Rosemary expressed her gratitude to the President of the United Republic of Tanzania, Hon. Samia Suluhu Hassan, for her faith in her abilities.
“I anticipated a move, but not to Dodoma…Dodoma is not just a region like Geita and others, it’s the country’s capital. As such, I am expected to meet not only the expectations of the Dodoma people, but those of all Tanzanians. This trust carries immense responsibility,” she expressed.
“Applying hard work and knowledge will be crucial in realizing the Dodoma that Tanzanians aspire to,” Hon. Rosemary added.
